Clear Creek Recreation Center

The Recreation Center, located at 98 12th Avenue in Idaho Springs, is the hidden gem in Clear Creek County. Following a complete renovation in 2016, the “Rec Center” offers members and visitors state of the art fitness equipment including cardio, Life Fitness weight machines, free weights, and a complete schedule of fitness classes.

The CCMRD aquatics area includes a pool is a 6-lane, 25-yard pool with a one-meter diving board, wading pool, hot tub, enclosed slide, and lazy river.

Idaho Springs Sports Complex

Idaho Springs Sports Complex is a host to youth and adult sports and diverse special events. The ISSC includes two sports fields and a stage.

Elmgreen Park

Elmgreen Park is located adjacent to Clear Creek High School and Middle School. Elmgreen Park serves the Floyd Hill community, featuring tennis/pickleball, basketball, a playground, and a covered pavilion.

P.A.W. Park

PAW’s Education Research Trail (PERT), located just west of Empire, is an accessible trail that tells the history of the wagon road over Berthoud Pass. The trail was opened on September 30, 2013. Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District maintains the park.
