SilverSneakers provides a membership to CCMRD if you are eligible for Medicare or are a group retiree and belong to one of the following plans: • AARP MedicareComplete® from SecureHorizons • AARP® Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan • Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield • Humana • Kaiser Permanente of CO The SilverSneakers Fitness program is offered in partnership with the above health plans at no additional cost to Medicare eligible members. Each member is entitled to a basic membership at the Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation Center. The basic membership includes the SilverSneakers classes, other classes on your Recreation Center’s schedule, guidance from qualified fitness instructors, a Senior Advisor, and the use of Recreation Center amenities: the swimming pool, hot tub, and weight room.

"NEW" Beginner Pilates
Pilates is an approach to total well-being. Contrology, as it was known in the early 20th century, when developed by Joseph Pilates, was designed as a method of conditioning for men.

Those of us that practice Pilates in the 21st century have discovered that it is beneficial to all, including those that have restrictions. The principles of Pilates include breath, concentration, center, control, precision, and flow. Pilates works the entire body with emphasis on the powerhouse (core). There are many modifications that can be done to increase or decrease the difficulty of the exercises. During this beginners class we will be concentrating on the breath, strengthening the powerhouse, lengthening, supporting, protecting the body, and flexibility.

Turbo Kick
Think you need a sparring partner to reap the benefits of kickboxing? Think again. In every
Turbo Kick LIVE class, you’ll incorporate real kickboxing moves with proper form and technique to get totally sculpted—no bags or gloves necessary. And even though we throw in some intense HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) training,we promise—this workout feels like the ultimate party. From the amped-up music to the incredible energy, you’ll leave every class dripping sweat and ready to conquer anything!

Aqua Zumba ®
Integrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, the
Aqua Zumba® class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water based workout that’s cardio conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief!

Deep Water
Low impact on joints and high impact on the cardiovascular system. Constant movement and resistance for an entire body, strength gaining workout. Water’s buoyancy supports joints, allowing freedom of movement.

Yoga with Annie
This class will help you to focus on advancing your yoga practice with greater detail to alignment while focusing on foundational poses. Poses will be held longer with attention to strength, flexibility, balance and concentration. This class is appropriate for all levels.
